the pipers of Boleigh, the 2 pipers that played for the merry maidens one ill fated Saturday night, a lesson for us all not to party to the early hours of Sunday morning otherwise we may be turned to stone like them and their maidens

This is a painting done on a canvas board that has then had more triangles of board, and canvas, layered on it and the figures painted on it, they layers of board and canvas give it a three dimensional effect that is almost impossible to see on the single image.
